We are now dealers for JL Audios superb line of subwoofers

Acoustic Frontiers LLC is happy to announce that we are stocking and selling subwoofers from JL Audio. JL Audio are one of the top subwoofer manufacturers in the world today and their technology and engineering is very impressive. Their origins are in the car and marine industry from which they learnt a lot of lessons which they have applied to their line of subwoofers for the home environment.

/></span></span></p> <p>On more than a few occasions now we have identified that a customer's system would benefit from a subwoofer or subwoofers. We are in the process of writing a blog post (out in the next few days) that will outline the system issues that can be resolved through use of a subwoofer. We are also planning a mini-series of blog posts (similar to our mini-series on room correction) that will explain how to perform a subwoofer calibration and what all the controls do.</p> <p>Our experience is that integrating a subwoofer into a system is not easy or straightforward. It is very difficult, if not impossible, to get good results by ear alone even if one uses test disks and an SPL meter. Using high resolution acoustic measurements (both frequency and time domain) simplifies and speeds up the process and makes it possible to achieve consistently good sound quality results.</p> <p>For this reason we are offering FREE onsite calibration within the areas we serve on all JL Audio subwoofers. There is little point buying a sub or subs from the internet or from a dealer if you do not have the knowledge or measurement equipment necessary to perform a successful subwoofer calibration. Most dealers do not possess acoustic measurement equipment and so will not be able to properly integrate the subwoofer to get the system performing to its sound quality potential.</p> <p><strong>See the <a class=JL Audio and Subwoofer Calibration Services pages on our webite
